Lady Dons Golf Place Second At Lumberjack Invitational
USFs Lisa Chen (145 73, 72) Individual Champion
Flagstaff, AZ - USF shot a 306 in the final round of the Lumberjack Invitational to card their second consecutive runner-up tournament finish. Sophomore Lisa Chen fired an even-par 72 for a two-round total of 145 to win the individual medallist honors. The 145 is a career-low for Chen, who wins her first collegiate career individual title. Iowa State captured the team competition with a final round of 297. USF's Emilie Arnaud fired a 75, while senior Natalie Nakamura added a 78 for the Lady Dons. Frehsman Jordan Auten (81) and sophomore Susannah Laing (86) rounded out the USF scorecard. Lyndsey Devenish shot a 73 in the final round for a two-day total of 150 placed third, while competing unattached. USF entered the season with a preseason ranking of 30 as released by Golf Week, placed second at the Oregon State Invitational on Sept. 16. Final USF Scores: 1. Lisa Chen, 145 (73, 72); 3.
