USF Women's Golf Set to Host 2007 USF/Richmond Country Club Invitational

(San Francisco) - USF women's golf is pleased to announce the field for the 2007 USF/Richmond Country Club Invitational, beginning Monday, November 5 at the Richmond Country Club. It is the lone home event for the Dons this season, who are hosting an event for the first time since 2005.

San Francisco welcomes a nine-team field, featuring three schools with top-50 rankings in the current Division I poll released by GolfWeek.com, including No. 38 Texas Tech, No. 45 Oregon and the host No. 49 Dons.

"We are very excited to be hosting this invitational in partnership with the Richmond Country Club," USF head coach Ria Quiazon said. "The Richmond Country Club is an outstanding venue for this tournament in what should be a competitive field. We look forward to a successful event and I look for our team to finish the Fall season on a strong note."

Yardage: Par 71, 5,963 Yards
Tournament Format: 54 Holes - 36 Monday; 18 Tuesday
Tournament Field: Boise State, Campbell, Oregon, San Francisco, Texas Tech, Toledo, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UNLV
