Complete first day results (two rounds) for the 2007 USF/Richmond Country Club Invitational. November 5, 2007 (Richmond, CA) - USF women's golf is in a share of sixth place after two rounds of the USF/Richmond Country Club Invitational on a crisp, breezy Monday at the Richmond Country Club. The Dons shot 618 (311, 307) on the par-71 course playing at 5,955 yards, four strokes from cracking the top five. Texas Tech leads the nine-team field in the first year event with a 606 (305, 301), one stroke in front of UC Davis (308, 299) and UNLV (311, 296) at 607. Boise State shot 614 (311, 304) and Oregon rounds out the top five at 615 (308, 307). UNLV's Alejandra Roberts leads the field at 143 (69, 74), three shots in front of Rebels teammate Therese Kolbaeck (75, 71) and UC Irvine's Selanee' Henderson (75, 71) at 146. Junior Christina Stockton was the top finisher for the Dons entering the final round in a share of seventh place at 149 (76, 73). Stockton led the way for the Dons with 23 pars and ranked second among the field in par-3 scoring at even par. Senior Jessica Potter is in a logjam in 20th place at 155 (77, 78) and recorded 22 pars. Final round action is set for an 8:30 AM (PT) shotgun start.
