The USF women's soccer team fell in overtime for the second straight time, this time at Pacific in steamy Stockton 2-1. The Dons dropped to 0-2 on the year while the Tigers improved to 2-0.

With the game tied at one after regulation the Tigers' looked towards their offensive captain, junior Carmen Padilla for a spark. Padilla responded in the third minute of overtime, netting the Tigers' game-winner on a breakaway goal that was setup by a clearance punt by sophomore 'keeper Jaime Souza. The goal was Padilla's first of the 2005 season and 16th of her career.
