SPOKANE, Wash. - USF senior forward Heidi Prestegard scored two first-half goals, including the game-winner giving the Dons their first West Coast Conference victory in a 3-0 shutout of Gonzaga Friday at Martin Field. With the victory, San Francisco (8-6-1, 1-3-0 WCC) posts their highest win tally since the 1997 campaign when USF recorded 11 wins. Gonzaga (0-12-1, 0-4-0) remains winless on the year.

It is the second multi-goal game of the season for Prestegard, who tallied her fourth and fifth goals of the season giving her 16 career goals on the Hilltop.

Junior defender Kristin Gordon sealed the Dons win with a goal at 59:17 on a free-kick pass assist from Katie Mingst. With the scoring strike, Gordon recorded her first career goal at USF.
