Final Stats

(Malibu, CA) - San Francisco women's soccer fell to West Coast Conference foe Pepperdine 3-0 in the regular season finale for both teams. The Dons (5-13-2, 0-7-0 WCC) were dominated on offense by the tough Waves (9-9-2, 4-3-0 WCC).

USF was out shot 24 to two in the match, and the Waves held a 4-2 corner kick advantage.

Pepperdine started the scoring at 27:09 when Amanda Rupp earned the goal from inside the six yard box. Ashley Copp earned the assist. Five minutes later, Rupp scored again to put the Waves up 2-0. Emily Wynne crossed to Copp who passed it on to Rupp, who then one timed it at the post. The final score came at the 77:31 mark in the second half, and put Pepperdine up 3-0. Alexis Farler who shot the ball into the upper right after a pass into the box from Joanna Idom.

USF's freshman goalie Sarah Garland earned a career high 10 saves in the match. Senior midfielder Katherine Kimure and junior forward Kristina Hall each had a shot in the game.
