(San Francisco, CA) - As USF women's soccer wraps up another productive spring season, the team finds ways to be productive off the playing field. The team was successful in raising over $500 for Kicks Against Breast Cancer, the annual fundraiser held all over the country where college soccer teams raise funds and participate in a day of soccer games. This year the USF women's soccer team tied Final Four participant Stanford at the event.

Women's soccer also participated in Campus Ministry's volunteer day on April 25th. The team helped weed and clean up Golden Gate Park. Freshman Kallie Caldwell commented, "It was a good bonding experience with our team, and it felt great to help maintain one of the most beautiful urban parks in America."

Wrapping up the spring season of volunteering, the USF women's soccer team will have members run a clinic on May 15th for the Boys and Girls Club San Francisco Chapter.
