(Fresno, Calif.) - Aly Drake, a signee USF women's soccer team, earned the California State Track Championships in the 800 meters last weekend in Fresno.

Drake, who will compete for the Dons' on the pitch in the fall, will also run track for the Green and Gold in the spring of 2010.

The product of Valenica High School won the 800 with a mark of 2:07.45. Her time currently stands at the leading mark in the nation.

Drake was a four year varsity starter and two year captain on the Valencia High School Girl's Soccer team. She was named the 2007Offensive Player of the Year, and earned All Santa Clarita Valley First Team and the Valencia High Girl's Soccer Leadership Award.
