Women's Soccer Hosts Clinic at Negoesco Field

Oct. 30, 2008

(San Francisco, CA) - Last Sunday (10/26/08) after the Gonzaga game at Negoesco Field, the San Francisco women's soccer team held a free clinic for local youth soccer players. The Dons taught soccer basics to the young athletes.

Head coach Mark Carr spoke about the event.

"It was a great way for our players to give back and reach out to young aspiring soccer players," Carr said. "It was a great experience for everyone involved and both the USF girls and the youth players got a lot out of it. It is good for these young soccer players to have role models who they can look up to."
