NEXT UP FOR USF: This concludes the 2009 season. Check back at USFDons.com for all your University of San Francisco athletics needs, and we will see you at Negoesco in 2010.

Kristina Hall LEADS DONS SCORERS: Senior midfielder Kristina Hall has been aggressive in the early going, scoring four of the Dons 12 goals. She scored in the Dons first game of the season, helping USF to a 2-0 win against San Francisco State (8/21). Hall then scored twice in a 4-0 drubbing of Academy of Art (8/30). Her final goal so far came in the 3-0 win over Fairfield in the USF odwalla/Nike Classic (9/6).

DONS OFFENSE: USF has 22 goals this season, 12 more then they had all of 2008. Junior midfielder Lauren Maris (one at Gonzaga on 10/23, one vs. AAU on 9/30 and one vs. Fairfield on 9/6), freshman forward Megan Connor (AAU 8/30, Pacific 9/20, EWU 9/25), and freshman midfielder Aly Drake (SU 9/27, USD 10/18, CSUB 11/1) are second on the team with three. Sophomore forward Molly Hall (two vs. SMC 10/11) and freshman forward Laura Gordon (game winner vs. Marist on 8/28 and one vs. Fairfield on 9/6) each have two scoring strikes for USF. Five Dons have also scored their first ever collegiate goals in 2009 including, junior defender Ashley O'Brien (EWU 9/25), sophomore midfielder Megan Bucci (Marist 8/28), sophomore midfielder Keonna Robinson (CS Fullerton 9/13), freshman midfielder Camile Cholger (SF State 8/21), and freshman defender Ashlyn Mazur (USD 10/18).

WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM THEIR FRIENDS: Eleven Dons have helped out their teammates in 2009. Senior Kristina Hall, junior Ashley O'Brien, sophomores Keonna Robinson and Kelli Woodard, freshmen Laura Gordon and Ashlyn Mazur each have one assist this season. Freshman Megan Connor, sophomores Megan Bucci and Molly Hall, junior Lauren Maris, and senior Samantha Brand lead the assist category with two each.

A LOOK AT PEPPERDINE: After finishing 9-9-2 in 2008 and losing six senior starters and five other players, the Waves are a young, inexperienced team in 2009. But the elders have taken the newcomers under their wings and produced a winning season. Pepperdine comes into Saturday's game at 10-7-1, already better than the previous season. Leading the charge are sophomore midfielder Michelle Spacciapolli and senior midfielder Sophia Medina, who both have four goals, one assist and nine points. Head coach Tim Ward is 134-75-30 in 12 seasons in Malibu.
