USF Women's Soccer is hosting an all girls Christmas camp at Negoesco Stadium, December 21-23, 2009. The camp will run all day, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The cost for the camp is $200 and girls ages 6-13 are welcome.

Camp Summary

The USF Women's Soccer Christmas Holiday Camp promises to be a great soccer experience for girls 6-13 years of age. The camp will emphasize specific skills related to the improvement of soccer fundamentals. The camp will include scrimmages, ball control drills, passing and shooting technique, and an intense but fun atomosphere for learning all the best soccer skills. Each camper will be challenged with fun and exciting games as well as soccer drills that will dramatically improve her overall experience in the sport of soccer.

More Details About Camp

The USF Women's Soccer Christmas Camp will be run by Head Coach Mark Carr and USF assistants Maite Zabala and Mike Herman. The ALL GIRLS camp will promise to be a great experience for local youth looking to further develop fundamentals in the sport of soccer. Collegiate style coaching techniques will be used to help train and guide campers through drills and scrimages for a fun three day camp.


 

 

Early and After Camp

Early drop off and late care pick up will be avalable to campers for an extra cost of $10 per hour.

Early drop off (8am to 9am)
Late pick up (3pm to 5pm)

What Camper will Learn

Shooting and kicking techniques
Passing and trapping fundamentals
Ball control drills
Small scrimmage play
Team work principles


Camp Facilities

Negoesco Field is the home to USF soccer and considered one of the best soccer facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area. The field is situated on the western part of the USF campus ajacent to the USF Koret Center. The advanced turf field is truly a unique facilty in the heart of the city. The field is located on Parker St. at the intersection of Golden Gate Ave. (refer map at the top of page)

Meals at Camp

Each camper should pack a lunch or money for lunch. Campers will be escorted to the USF Food Court/Cafeteria for the lunch break.

Check-In Location & Instructions

Check-in for camp will begin at 8:30am the first day of camp. A check-in table will be set up at Negoesco Field for campers to verify registration and waiver information. All camper accounts must be reconciled prior to the start of camp.
