Julia Wartenburger, a senior on the University of San Francisco women’s tennis team, has earned All-West Coast Conference honorable mention accolades, as announced by the league office Wednesday. The honor marks the first of Wartenburger’s career.

The Tournament is schedule to take place at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego and will begin Wednesday, April 25 at 12:30 pm.

The University of San Francisco women’s tennis team defeated the Aggies of Utah State today, 4-3, in Logan, Utah to improve to 3-7 on the season. The Dons fell two matches to one in doubles play, earning a point for the Aggies. But USF came out strong in singles play and four of the six matched to earn to victory for San Francisco.

Through an exciting partnership with both the University of San Francisco men’s and women’s tennis teams, the Harper for Kids non-profit and the Dons have been taking their life skills programs to local school. Harper for Kids administers a youth life skills program for children based on the philosophy of iconic UCLA coach John Wooden and his famed Pyramid of Success.
