Coach Somers' Take Tennis: A local standout in the NorCal juniors from San Jose. She trains with the well known men's open player Billy Ball. Personal: She is a true gym rat, whether she is shooting baskets, playing mini tennis, working out in the weight room, just hanging out chatting with other gym rats, or walking up and down the gym stairs talking on her cell phone. She is obsessed with colored tennis shoes to match her tennis outfit. And...she gets so nervous to run the mile she can't sleep the night before. Future Ambitions: Wants to be a phone operator because she loves to talk on the phone so much. Don't worry, we made a team rule that she can't talk on the phone while driving. She will be a personal trainer on the side so she can work out with her clients 3 hours a day in the gym and perfectly demonstrate all the dynamic stretches. |
