2008-09 SEASON: Finished freshman season 10-10 (1-0 at No. 4, 0-1 at No. 5, 9-8 at No. 6)... won in her first match as a Don, taking a 6-1, 6-4 victory from Cal Baptist's Maiara Oliveira (2/26/09)... second win was a 6-0, 6-1 showing over Maria Tenorio of Academy of Art (2/1/09)... defeated Santa Clara's Isabelle Hoy 6-2, 7-5 (2/13/09)... took a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Southern Utah's Carmen Blanco (3/6/09)... defeated conference foe Estelle LaPorte of Loyola Marymount 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 (2/28/09)... took a 6-3, 7-5 win from Jennifer Betts of Furman University (3/14/09)... in following match, defeated Luiza Xavier of Northern Colorado 7-6, 6-4 (3/18/09)... earned a 6-2, 6-0 win over Ashley Macias of Cal State Northridge (3/22/09)... second consecutive victory came over No. 49 UC Irvine's Hannah Holladay 7-5, 6-1 (3/23/09)... final singles win came over Santa Clara's Courtney Hull 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 (4/10/09)... went 4-6 in doubles (1-0 with Jessy Mekpoh, 2-4 with Mylene Martin, 1-1 with Sarah Oudomvilay, and 0-3 with Julia Wartenburger).
