(Moraga, CA) - Saint Mary's women's tennis defeated the USF 5-2 in West Coast Conference action at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex. Saint Mary's swept the doubles matches and went on to win four of the six singles matches. USF's number one, Gabi Ruiz defeated Annie Wolford, who retired after falling 4-0.

Ana Skogerboe defeated Nicole Hunstock of the Gaels 6-1, 3-6, 6-4, in the only match to go to a third frame.

USF returns to action when they travel to San Jose State for a match against the Spartans on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
