Lady Dons Netters Stay Undefeated, Topping St. Mary's 4-3

The USF women's tennis team stayed unbeaten, improving to 6-0 with an exciting 4-3 win over St. Mary's Thursday in Moraga. USF won three of the six singles matches, and two of the three doubles matches. USF won the doubles point with the teams of Savage/Bernhoft and Duncan/Chang winning at #2 and #3. Gabi Ruiz won at #1 in three tight sets and after Anna Skogerboe and Carey Savage each lost three set matches, Beate Bernhoft and Michelle Duncan won straight set matches to clinch the match. USF's Courtney Chang was outlasted by Lindsey Herndon-Ortega at #6. USF hosts Nevada Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Golden Gate Park.
