USF Women Stay Perfect at 7-0 After Toppling Nevada 4-3

The USF women's tennis team kept its record unblemished with a 4-3 win over Nevada Saturday at the Golden Gate Park tennis courts. The Lady Dons (7-0) got big singles wins from Beate Burnhoft and Michelle Duncan in taking the win. USF won the doubles points when Carey Savage and Beate Bernoft defeated Nevada's Ines Zouasi and Myriam Bouchlaka 8-4, while Duncan and Courtney Chung won on a default. After Nevada won at #1-#3 singles with Vania Apodaca defeating Gabi Ruiz, Biljana Trpeska topping Anna Skogerboe and Ines Zousasi topping Carey Savage, USF's Beate Burnhoft won over Myriam Bouchala 6-1, 6-3 and Michelle Duncan topped Christine Lilley 6-0, 6-0.
