USF Women's Tennis Falls 5-2 to WCC Rival Santa Clara

(San Francisco) - USF dropped a hard fought 5-2 decision to Bay Area and West Coast Conference foe Santa Clara Friday afternoon at the Olympic Club. The Dons (3-3, 0-1 WCC) battled, but could not get over the hump against the Broncos (6-3, 1-0 WCC).
USF was swept in doubles action and earned singles wins at No. 1 and No. 5 singles. The Dons return to action when they host UC Santa Barbara Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Olympic Club. First serve against the Gauchos is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
