San Francisco Loses 5-2 Dual To UC Irvine

IRVINE, CALIF. - San Francisco lost a 5-2 dual to No. 35 UC Irvine Friday afternoon at Anteater Tennis Stadium.

The loss gives USF a 3-6 record. UC Irvine is 6-4 on the year.

San Francisco scored two points in singles with wins by Jenni Heinser and Mylene Martin at No. 1 and No. 2. Heinser, now 9-0 in singles this season, topped Inna Agababian by a score of 6-1, 6-3. Martin defeated Clare Fermin with a score of 6-4, 6-3.

San Francisco next competes Sunday March 2 at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The dual is set to begin at 10 a.m. PT.
