USF Women's Tennis Dispatches Texas Pan-Am 6-1

(San Francisco) - USF women's tennis won five of six singles matches, falling only at the top spot, to roll to an easy 6-1 victory against Texas Pan-Am Monday at Golden Gate Park. With the victory, the Lady Dons improve to 3-6 on the season. Caroline Tweeton won for San Francisco at number two singles with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) win against Elisabeth Mateas, Carey Savage won 6-4, 6-1 at number three, while Anna Skogerboe had little difficulty at number four, cruising to a 6-0, 6-2 win. Michelle Duncan won her number five match 6-3, 6-4, while Nikki Kobayashi won in the sixth spot 7-5, 6-2. USF returns to action when they host the Saint Louis Billikens on Thursday. USF def.
