(San Francisco) - USF women's tennis continued the best start in program history, sweeping Creighton 7-0 in non-conference women's tennis action Wednesday at Golden Gate Park. The Lady Dons (10-0) remained perfect on the season against a Creighton squad that fielded only five players.

USF did not lose a set in either doubles or singles play. USF number one Gabi Ruiz dispatched Deidre Senders 6-4, 6-3, while Anna Skogerboe cruised past Christy Roth 6-2, 6-1 at number two. Carey Savage downed Pam Gerik 6-0, 6-2 at number three, Beate Bernhoft won at number four 6-0, 6-3 against Shannon Whelan. Michelle Duncan won her 10th straight match, defeating Molly Green 6-2, 6-2 at number five.

San Francisco puts their perfect record on the line when they travel to Southern California for their 2003 Spring Break trip, where they will play six matches in seven days. USF takes on Cal Poly in the first match of the road swing Thursday, March 13 in San Luis Obispo.
