USF Women's Tennis Outlasts Quinnipiac 5-2

(HAMDEN, CT)-In a match that lasted more than five hours, the University of San Francisco (6-4) came from losing the doubles point to win the match 5-2 at Quinnipiac (5-2).
Quinnipiac got out in front by winning the doubles point after their top two pairs knocked off the Dons. In the #3 doubles slot, juniors Michelle Duncan and Anna Skogerbee handled Liz Axler and Kat Ehle, 8-3.
The singles matches were a slugfest, with all four matches in the top four slots going three sets. Freshman Camille Pamart beat Kim Piazza 6-4, 2-6, 7-6(1) in the top slot. Freshman Megan Tiegs, senior Gabi Ruiz, and freshman Joana Laranjihna also picked up singles wins.
