USF Women's Tennis Blanks Sonoma State 9-0

ROHNERT PARK, CA. - The USF Lady Dons tennis team won it's third consecutive match on Friday afternoon when they shut out Sonoma State 9-0 in Rohnert Park. Saturday, the Lady Dons (10-8) will take on Nevada at 11:00 A.M. in a men's and women's double header at the Golden Gate Park courts. The men's team will take on Sacramento State at 11:00 A.M. as well.
Freshman Megan Tiegs paced USF from the #2 singles position, beating Nicole Warm 6-0, 6-0. Tiegs has shut out her opponent in the last two matches. All six singles players for USF won their matches in straight sets.
On the doubles side, the #3 doubles team on junior Michelle Duncan and sophomore Anna Skogerboe won their match 8-1 over Kelly Murphy and Gina Dunch. The team of Duncan and Skogerboe are riding a four match winning streak.
