Women's Tennis Sweeps Nevada 7-0

The USF women's tennis team dominated throughout in sweeping an easy 7-0 win over Nevada Saturday in Golden Gate Park. In fact, the visiting Wolf Pack failed to win a set in USF's 11th victory of the season.
USF (11-8) started strong with doubles wins by the teams of Pamart/Laranjinha (8-5), Tiegs/Ruiz (8-4) and Skogerboe/Duncam (8-2) to win the singles point.
The Dons continued to dominate as Camile Pamart (6-2, 6-4) Megan Tiegs (6-1, 6-1), and Gabriela Ruiz (6-3, 6-0) won at the top three slots to clinch the win. The momentum continued with wins by Joana Laranjihna (6-1, 6-2), Anna Skogerboe (6-3, 6-2) and Stephanie Chang (7-6, 6-3) closing out the match.
It was USF Tennis Day at Golden Gate Park and the final home match of the season for the Dons, with seniors Gabriela Ruiz and Stephanie Chang winning their home finales.
