(San Francisco) - USF women's tennis continued to roll with a 5-0 sweep of the visiting Vikings of Portland State Thursday in non-conference women's tennis action at the Olympic Club. The Lady Dons improved to 9-6 on the season.

San Francisco captured the doubles point and dominated in singles action. Number five and six singles were ended due to rain with USF's Michelle Duncan and Nikki Kobayashi holding commanding leads. In completed singles matches, USF's one through four singles lost a total of just nine combined games.

Gabi Ruiz won at number one 6-3, 6-0, Caroline Tweeton won 6-1, 6-0 at number two, while Carey Savege took a 6-0, 6-2 victory at number three. Anna Skogerboe won for the Lady Dons at number four with a 6-2, 6-1 win.
