The USF women fell to Santa Clara 6-1 in the first round of the West Coast Conference championships held Friday at Pepperdine University. The Lady Dons started strong, winning the doubles point, but were swept in singles by the fourth seeded Broncos.

USF will continue play in the WCC championships on Saturday, facing Gonzaga at 9:00 a.m.
