Complete Results Day Two Get Acrobat Reader

(San Luis Obispo, CA) - USF fared better on day two of the Cal Poly Invitational, earning two singles victories. The Dons went 2-2 in singles but fell 0-2 in doubles.

Sophomore Cecilia Gratian defeated Tova Housman from UC Santa Barbara in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. Sophomore Jessy Mekpoh defeated UCSB's Michelle Murphy 6-4, 3-6, (10-4). Senior Sarah Oudomvilay fell to Santa Barbara's Natalia Lozano 6-3, 6-3, and freshman Andrea Gaitan fell to UCSB's Bryanna Ojeda 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles action, USF took on Bay Area foe Santa Clara, but could not come away with a win. Gratian and Mekpoh fell to Stephanie Galainena and Ashley Pane 9-7, while Gaitan and Oudomvilay fell to Carmen Pham and Kacie Wagner 8-3.

USF finishes out the Invite tomorrow, taking on Santa Clara in singles at 9:00 AM and Cal Poly in doubles at 11:00 AM.
