Illinois State University proved too strong for the Lady Dons. They came out very strong in the singles, winning all six singles matches. Carey Savage of USF put up a great fight in her singles match but unfortunately lost 1-10 in the super tie-breaker, played in lieu of the third set. In doubles action, the #2 pair of Volkmann/Savage nearly created an upset when they fought back from a hole, but the Falcon’s prevailed in the end, winning 9-7.

"Our doubles is really coming along. The girls are getting used to playing with each other and our teams are beginning to gel," states Coach Somers.
