AGAINST THE HIGHLANDERS: USF came up short in the doubles, only winning at the number two slot of Bernhoft and Savage, but then proceeded to clinch the victory by winning four singles matches before the rain came in. Skogerboe cruised to a 6-3, 6-3 victory at #2 singles. Bernhoft ran her opponent off the court at #4 with a 7-5, 6-2 win. Michelle Duncan and Courtney Chung had convincing wins rounding up the line up at #5 and #6 while Ruiz and Savage at #1 and #3 were still battling when the rain stopped play.

AGAINST THE TIGERS: The Lady Dons #2 and #3 doubles tandems both cruised to 8-3 wins to secure the doubles point. Playing into the night on Sunday night the Dons fought their way to 4 singles victories on the Tigers home turf. Ruiz at #1 singles clinched a 3 setter and Bernhoft, Duncan, and Chung cruised at numbers 4,5, and 6 respectively.

WHAT'S ON TAP: The Lady Dons squad will make up last weeks rained out match against conference rival Saint Mary's in Moraga on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.. The Dons split matches with the Gaels last season coming up short at the beginning of the season and clinched a 4-3 battle at the end of the season.

WOLF PACK COMING TO TOWN: The Dons will take on University of Nevada this Saturday at Golden Gate Park at 10:00 AM.

DROP SHOTS: Alumni Day and Fan Day is scheduled for March 28th for our match up with Santa Clara at Golden Gate Park, 2:00 p.m.. Hope to see you there in your green and gold!
