Hedie Kromschroder and Jamie Johnson’s single wins weren’t enough to bring the Lady Don’s victory in Tuesday’s match against San Jose State. Kromschroder who is now 5-11 this season, defeated Spartan’s Desiree Garrido 6-1, 6-0 in the fifth spot. Following right behind in the sixth seat, Jamie Johnson 3-11 took the win over Jesica Borelo 6-2, 6-1. In doubles action Volkman/Savage 8-4, and Kobayashi/Kromscroder 8-4 took the doubles point from the Spartans, but it still wasn’t enough for the Don’s who trailed in the final 3-4 setback.
