USF To Add Men's Track in 2006-07

Men's track will be added as an official sport for the 2006-07 season at the University of San Francisco as announced by USF Athletic Director Bill Hogan today. Women's track made its official debut last season. The addition of men's and women's track should bolster a rapidly improving cross-country program which has turned in record setting years the last two seasons under Lehman-Winter's guidance.

USF Women's Cross Country/Track Announces 2005 Signings

USF head cross country coach Helen Lehman-Winters announced the signings of three student-athletes to compete for the University of San Francisco in the 2005-2006 cross country and track season. Ashton LeSieur (Petaluma, CA), Michelle Born (Roseville, CA) and Jennifer Gross (Orange, CA) round out the second recruiting class for Lehman-Winters. [+]

USF Track Posts Solid Finish in 2005 Independent Championships

USF track competed in the 2005 NCAA Division I Independents Track and Field Championships Sunday afternoon at the Woody Wilson Track, hosted by UC Davis. Sophomore Renee Stribling posted the top showing for the Dons with an impressive third place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:15.21. [+]
