(Davis, CA) - USF track competed in the 2005 NCAA Division I Independents Track and Field Championships Sunday afternoon at the Woody Wilson Track, hosted by UC Davis. Sophomore Renee Stribling posted the top showing for the Dons with an impressive third place finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:15.21.

A pair of Germans posted top-five finishes in their final collegiate races. Stephanie Voelckers (Hamburg) finished fifth in a strong field in the 400 meters at 0:59.37 , while senior Jeannine Hagedorn (Cologne) finished third in the 5000 at 17:37.08.

Freshman Jennifer Hartford (18:10.87) and junior Ariana Morey (18:17.06) finished ninth and 10th respectively in the 5000.

Freshman Cheyne Inman placed ninth in the men's 5000 at 15:26.96.
