Prep/Club Career:
Named Sierra League MVP as a senior at St. Lucy's Priory High School after leading the conference with a .826 attack percentage... the three-time first team selection and a two-time team MVP, powered the Regents to their third consecutive league title in 2006 and the first CIF Semifinals appearances in school history in 2005-06... averaged 4.1 kills and 1.7 blocks per game as a senior, earning All-CIF Division II First Team selection after capturing Division III Second Team accolades as a junior... traveled with the Southern California High Performance Team in Italy and Slovenia... competed for the Club West 16 Elite club team... earned All-Tournament honors at the 2005 USA Girls' Club Invitational Championships.

Sarah Mandala... parents are Jim and Sue Mandala... born August of 1989 in San Dimas, Calif... goal is to help the Dons make the NCAA Tournament... chose USF for the city, the beautiful campus and for the volleyball team... mother, Sue, played basketball at Northern Arizona... favorite quote is "It is better to have been in the arena and lost than to never have been in the arena at all."... interests include cooking, trips to the beach, watching the TV show Friends, exploring Golden Gate Park and trying out new restaurants... major is exercise and sports science.
